DRM-X 6.0 provides integration projects for PHP, Laravel, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET Framework, Python, Node.js and Java. Frontend teams can use React, Next.js and Vue player components, while platform developers can explore LTI, hosted LMS and Shopify reference bridges.

04 / CONTENT ID MAKES THE CONNECTION SIMPLER
Use your content IDs. Keep your access rules.
The standard playback integration uses a DRM-X Content ID. Your backend maps a video or lesson in your system to that ID after checking whether the current viewer is allowed to watch.
- Publish your protected video. With configured 1aicloud or supported S3 publishing, DRM-X records the media URLs. If you upload protected files to your own server, register their DASH/HLS media URLs in DRM-X first.
- Configure DRM-X on your server. Add your Site ID, Site Key and Access Key using the selected integration guide. Keep these credentials on the backend.
- Connect your authorization logic. Use your existing login, purchase, subscription or enrollment checks, then return the authorized DRM-X Content ID.
- Load protected playback. The backend requests playback information. The player receives the registered media URL and a DRM License Token for the DRM-X playback workflow.
Once media URLs are registered, the normal integration can resolve them from Content ID. Customers do not need to hard-code a manifest URL into each player page. Django and Laravel also provide authorization extension points, so existing business systems can supply access decisions without maintaining a second purchase or enrollment database for DRM-X.

The DRM-X 6.0 integration download center offers a complete package as well as individual platform downloads. Developers can also clone the public GitHub repositories to review the implementation and track changes.
The open-source release covers the published integration code and components under their included licenses. DRM-X 6.0 Cloud Multi-DRM remains a separate hosted service; downloading the code does not include a service subscription. Check each repository for license details, dependencies and current preview requirements.
DRM-X 6.0 brings together Widevine, FairPlay, PlayReady and WisePlay integration paths. Available features depend on the selected DRM technology, browser, device and platform. The website and LMS integration packages are public previews, with continuing testing and improvements.
