01 / A NEW STARTING POINT FOR DEVELOPERS
Bring Cloud Multi-DRM into your website or learning platform.
Haihaisoft has published 15 open-source DRM-X 6.0 integration repositories on GitHub, helping developers add protected video to WordPress, Moodle, custom websites and online learning platforms.
The release brings together application examples, reusable SDK packages, web player components and LMS plugins. Developers can inspect the code, adapt the authorization logic and follow platform-specific tutorials instead of building every connection from the beginning.
For course providers, membership businesses and video services, the benefit is practical: keep your existing customer experience while connecting video access to the purchases, subscriptions and course enrollments your platform already manages.

02 / WORDPRESS & MOODLE DRM INTEGRATION
Protect course videos where learning already happens.
The LMS integrations help education providers connect protected lessons to their existing learning environment. Follow the guide for your platform to configure DRM-X, associate content with lessons and apply the relevant access checks.
WORDPRESS LMS PLUGINS
Choose your learning platform.
Dedicated repositories and setup guidance are available for five popular WordPress LMS platforms:
Read the WordPress DRM integration guide →MOODLE ACTIVITY & FILTER PLUGINS
Add protected video to Moodle.
The Moodle repository includes the DRM-X activity and filter plugins, with instructions for installation, server configuration and adding protected content to your courses.
Use the documented Moodle permissions and enrollment workflow to connect playback to your learning platform.

Read the Moodle DRM integration guide →The WordPress repositories use the shared DRM-X Universal Player plugin. Install it once per WordPress site and follow the guide for your LMS. Use the installer ZIP provided in the documentation when installing a CMS plugin.
03 / SDKs, SOURCE CODE & WEB PLAYER COMPONENTS
Start with the language your team already knows.
DRM-X 6.0 provides integration projects for PHP, Laravel, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET Framework, Python, Node.js and Java. Frontend teams can use React, Next.js and Vue player components, while platform developers can explore LTI, hosted LMS and Shopify reference bridges.
Backend projects include SDK packages where applicable, alongside source and examples. This gives teams a reusable library to work with and code they can inspect when adapting the integration to their own application.
| Language / platform | What is included | Get started |
|---|---|---|
| PHP | SDK, compact example and complete sample website | PHP source Guide |
| Laravel | PHP SDK and application authorization integration | Laravel source Guide |
| ASP.NET Core | C# SDK package and backend example | ASP.NET Core source Guide |
| ASP.NET Framework | C# example for Windows and IIS | ASP.NET Framework source Guide |
| Python / Django | Python package and authorization callback | Python / Django source Guide |
| Node.js / Express | JavaScript SDK and authorization callback | Node.js / Express source Guide |
| Java / Spring Boot + Vue | Java SDK and application integration example | Java / Spring Boot + Vue source Guide |
| React / Next.js / Vue | Player components for your website interface | React / Next.js / Vue source Guide |
| LTI / Hosted LMS / Shopify | Reference bridges for platform-specific integration | LTI / Hosted LMS / Shopify source Guide |
Every repository includes English, Simplified Chinese and Spanish READMEs, with links to the DRM-X documentation. Choose the guide that matches your framework and follow its configuration and authorization examples.
04 / CONTENT ID MAKES THE CONNECTION SIMPLER
Use your content IDs. Keep your access rules.
The standard playback integration uses a DRM-X Content ID. Your backend maps a video or lesson in your system to that ID after checking whether the current viewer is allowed to watch.
- Publish your protected video. With configured 1aicloud or supported S3 publishing, DRM-X records the media URLs. If you upload protected files to your own server, register their DASH/HLS media URLs in DRM-X first.
- Configure DRM-X on your server. Add your Site ID, Site Key and Access Key using the selected integration guide. Keep these credentials on the backend.
- Connect your authorization logic. Use your existing login, purchase, subscription or enrollment checks, then return the authorized DRM-X Content ID.
- Load protected playback. The backend requests playback information. The player receives the registered media URL and a DRM License Token for the DRM-X playback workflow.
Once media URLs are registered, the normal integration can resolve them from Content ID. Customers do not need to hard-code a manifest URL into each player page. Django and Laravel also provide authorization extension points, so existing business systems can supply access decisions without maintaining a second purchase or enrollment database for DRM-X.
05 / PUBLIC CODE. PRACTICAL DOCUMENTATION.
Download a complete kit—or just your platform.
The DRM-X 6.0 integration download center offers a complete package as well as individual platform downloads. Developers can also clone the public GitHub repositories to review the implementation and track changes.
The open-source release covers the published integration code and components under their included licenses. DRM-X 6.0 Cloud Multi-DRM remains a separate hosted service; downloading the code does not include a service subscription. Check each repository for license details, dependencies and current preview requirements.
DRM-X 6.0 brings together Widevine, FairPlay, PlayReady and WisePlay integration paths. Available features depend on the selected DRM technology, browser, device and platform. The website and LMS integration packages are public previews, with continuing testing and improvements.
