DRM-X 5.0 Digital Rights Management Platform Welcomes First Customers: LemooUI Upgrade and TradingWister Joins

Recently, Haihaisoft officially announced a significant milestone in the market rollout of its DRM-X 5.0 Digital Rights Management platform. As part of the ongoing upgrade collaboration plan following the DRM-X 5.0 public beta, long-time customer LemooUI successfully completed the upgrade and became one of the first official users of DRM-X 5.0. Meanwhile, new customer TradingWister has also officially adopted DRM-X 5.0, providing comprehensive copyright protection for its content training business.

LemooUI Continues to Trust DRM-X 5.0 for the Latest DRM Technology

LemooUI, a platform focused on game UI and animation design communication and learning, has long provided quality courses, case studies, and professional resources to the designer community, gaining wide recognition from industry creators.

As a loyal customer of DRM-X 4.0, LemooUI continues to trust Haihaisoft for content security and copyright protection, opting to upgrade its protection system with DRM-X 5.0. This move not only enhances the platform's ability to safeguard video courses, educational resources, and student content but also leverages the next-generation technical advantages of DRM-X 5.0 to achieve more secure content distribution and permissions management.

To thank long-time customers for their continued support of Haihaisoft’s DRM-X products, Haihaisoft introduced an upgrade incentive policy, offering DRM-X 4.0 users a smooth transition with the "Dual Platform Parallel" plan: After upgrading to DRM-X 5.0, the first year only requires payment for DRM-X 5.0, with DRM-X 4.0 offered for free. Subsequently, if users wish to continue retaining DRM-X 4.0 services, they will only need to pay 20% of the annual fee, effectively reducing migration costs and ensuring business continuity. This policy has helped LemooUI successfully complete the upgrade deployment.

New Customer TradingWister Chooses DRM-X 5.0 to Protect Course Content

Additionally, new DRM-X 5.0 customer TradingWister is an active content creator and instructor in the financial trading and analysis field, offering structured trading strategies, market analysis, and practical insights through live streaming and third-party video platforms, along with educational and consulting services.

As a content entrepreneur, TradingWister places significant importance on copyright protection for educational videos, analysis materials, and paid knowledge resources. After adopting DRM-X 5.0, its content will be comprehensively protected through high-strength encryption, strict license management, and multi-dimensional access control, helping TradingWister make a significant step in ensuring copyright security and commercial operations.

Haihaisoft also stated that for new customers, upon submitting complete company (or legitimate individual content creator) information and passing verification, they will receive 2 months of free enterprise account usage, allowing more legitimate content creators to experience the new copyright protection capabilities of DRM-X 5.0.

About DRM-X 5.0 Digital Rights Management Platform

As Haihaisoft’s latest-generation digital rights management platform, DRM-X 5.0 offers comprehensive upgrades over DRM-X 4.0, providing enhanced security performance, more flexible deployment, stronger cross-platform compatibility, and improved user experience and content control strategies. It is an important solution for future content distribution and copyright protection needs.

Security Features Updated in DRM-X 5.0:

1. Full-Screen Watermark

DRM-X 5.0 introduces a full-screen watermark feature. When users watch videos, the watermark will cover the entire video frame, helping to enhance content traceability and deter the spread of pirated content.

2. Prevention of Virtual Machines and Wireless Screen Mirroring

To prevent content from being stolen in insecure environments, DRM-X 5.0 includes blocking features for various virtual machines and wireless screen mirroring (such as wireless display devices or software). This feature prevents users from playing content in virtual machine environments or transferring content to other devices via wireless screen mirroring, further protecting content from unauthorized access.

3. Aliyun Elastic Desktop Service Disabled

DRM-X 5.0 strengthens protection against cloud computing environments, particularly blocking access to content on Alibaba’s Elastic Desktop Service. By preventing playback of protected content in cloud-based virtual environments, this feature helps stop the illegal extraction and sharing of content in cloud environments.

4. License Binding to Main Display

To enhance security, DRM-X 5.0 introduces a license binding mechanism to the main display. Even if users' devices are connected to multiple monitors, when the client detects multiple extended screens, it will display a prompt and automatically exit, blocking playback of protected content. This mechanism effectively prevents screen content from being leaked to unauthorized external displays.

5. Running the Client with Administrator Privileges

To enhance the integrity of content playback and protection, DRM-X 5.0 requires the client to run with administrator privileges upon startup. This action strengthens the security interaction between the DRM-X 5.0 client and the operating system, ensuring strict access control during content playback.

The introduction of these features greatly enhances DRM-X 5.0’s capabilities in content protection and copyright management, ensuring that clients’ digital assets are not misused or pirated.
